Lady GaGa is up for six GRAMMY Awards this Sunday, but she’s also making an appearance on “60 Minutes” on the same night in which she reveals what it is she really wants to win (hint: it’s not a GRAMMY).
Lady Gaga’s new album, “Born This Way” is due out in May (first single expected Friday) and the current queen of pop says she wants this album to be best of the decade. I don’t think she’s just talking about her own albums, but all music from around the globe. Do I detect of note of Madonna in GaGa?
In an interview in the March issue of Vogue magazine, GaGa (the name she tells “60 minutes” she prefers to be called) says that her fans deserve “nothing less” than that and also says she doesn’t want to record “something trendy.”
Gaga talks about her new album and about her improbable rise from college drop-out to pop star in a “60 Minutes” interview with Anderson Cooper, which airs Sunday on CBS just before the GRAMMYs.
