New “Glee” Cast Members For Season 3

LaMarcus Tinker of “Friday Night Lights” is heading to McKinley High, and rumors are swirling that he will be Mercedes’ new love interest.  A new girl is moving in too.  Her name is Sugar, but from what we hear, she is anything but sweet.

Tinker’s has officially signed on to play Bubba, Mercedes’ new love interest at McKinley High School, according to E! News.

Last time we saw Mercedes she was getting cozy with Chord Overstreet’s character, Sam.  Since then we’ve learned that Overstreet is not coming back to “Glee” next season, leaving Mercedes high and dry.  In comes Bubba to the rescue, a new football player on the team and crazy about Mercedes.

More cat fight should be on the way when Vanessa Lengies joins the cast as Sugar, a spoiled little rich girl who is bound to ruffle some feathers.  She’s described as a cross between Molly Shannon and a New Jersey housewife, according to TV Line.

Just for the record, Tinker is 20 and Lengies is 26.  Welcome back to high school kids.
