Adam Lambert Is At It Again

Nothing better than jail time before Christmas.
Adam Lambert is in Finland to visit his boyfriend, Sauli Koskinen, for the holidays. But the only gift he received was a few hours behind bars.
Adam and Sauli were arrested around 4am this morning, after reportedly fighting in one of DTM’s back rooms, getting kicked out of the club, and then taking what has been described as a “brawl” to the street. They were subsequently held for questioning for several hours, and news of their arrest rapidly flitted around the Twitterverse and blogosphere.
“Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it,” Adam tweeted Thursday afternoon (Finland time).
Some reports online made it look like Adam had become violent towards spectators who tried to break up the fight. But former Miss Helsinki Sofia Ruusila, who was out on the town with Adam and Sauli’s that night, told the press that Adam merely struck her by accident when she tried to intervene.
Back in September 2010, a Miami photographer pressed charges after a scuffle on the beach. That incident faded out of the news quickly back then. So who knows, maybe this will too. As of right now it’s still unclear if Adam will face charges overseas.
“Better Than I Know Myself” came out this week; Adam’s sophomore album, Trespassing, is due out in March 2012. So is this just a little scheme to get some attention and build up some hype?
