Nick Carter Loses Someone Close

The Carter family says goodbye.
Backstreet Boy Nick Carter has released a statement through publicist Jack Ketsoyan, following the sudden death of his younger sister Leslie, stating he will not cancel the Backstreet Boys tour and instead will honor his sister’s memory.
Nick stated, “Performing is cathartic to me and I am dedicating the rest of my tour to my sister since she loved to watch me perform.”
Leslie Carter, 25, died in upstate New York early afternoon on Tuesday. Following the news the family released a public statement on Tuesday night to Access Hollywood. “Our family is grieving right now and it’s a private matter. We are deeply saddened for the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, and granddaughter, Leslie Carter. We request the utmost privacy during this difficult time.”
In 2008 Leslie wed Mike Aston and gave birth to daughter Alyssa Jane on April 1, 2011.
